Strawberry Bread & Butter Recipe

Life doesn’t come with a manual. It comes with a mother

Unknown

Mother’s Day is approaching! I came across this quote about us lovely mothers and thought it was just perfect! I think it sums up many of the goals of motherhood. Our kids often treat us like an instruction manual by coming back to us time and time again (with sometimes the same question), and we’re supposed to instruct them on how to make the right decision or end up at the right destination. I really wish there was an instruction manual! Unfortunately there is not an instruction manual for most of life. However, there is an instruction manual for one of my mother’s favorite treats;) That treat is strawberry bread & butter! I love to make her this quick and easy dessert for Mother’s Day, and thought I’d share the instruction manual with you guys:)

This Strawberry bread & butter recipe would be a great Mother’s Day tea or brunch recipe!

Mothering is the most important job I, and most of us, have ever had. We really, really wish it came with an instruction manual. However, it does not. Trust that your momma is most likely doing the absolute best that she knows how to do. And that her job is really, really hard. So, please, take a little time and make her feel appreciated this Mother’s Day:) My momma (and this momma) would be delighted just to wake up to this sweet treat on Mother’s Day! Whatever you make, or purchase, your mother on Mother’s Day, it doesn’t have to be some grand thing that requires an instruction manual. It just needs to come from your heart. I’m sure she will love it;)
