I already loved it just the way it was, so I simply tucked in a few seasonal touches here and there. I strung some little gourds across the herb dryer I recently added, brought in a gourd and corn husk garland, a few pumpkins, and some bittersweet…and that was really all it needed. And honestly, those old brown crocks might be some of my favorite fall decor without even trying to be. 🤎 Their warm, earthy color just feels so right this time of year. Sometimes you don’t need to change the whole room with the seasons. PROOF YOU DON’T HAVE TO DECORATE THE WHOLE ROOM TO PROOF YOU DON’T HAVE TO DECORATE THE WHOLE ROOM TO MAKE IT FEEL LIKE FALL. 🍂 Sometimes fall doesn’t need to take over the whole house. Give me one little nook, an old pie safe, a few worn kitchen pieces, dried bits from the garden and a pumpkin or two…and I’m happy. 😆 I think these little nooks are actually my favorite ones to change with the seasons. Nothing fancy, nothing really “new” — just moving around the things I already love until the corner feels like fall. 🤗 And apparently I will forever believe there is room for one more tiny cupboard. A LITTLE FALL PANTRY REFRESH….. although “little” A LITTLE FALL PANTRY REFRESH….. although “little” might be stretching it. 😂🍂 I changed everything around and brought in all those warm, cozy fall tones I love — old crocks, worn wood, baskets, pumpkins, and all the collected pieces that make this space feel like me. The plaid pumpkins, pretty stems spilling out of the crock and the wheat hanging on the side are from antiquefarmhouse 's CORNFIELDS & CANDLELIGHT COLLECTION, and they blended in so perfectly with everything I already had. THERE'S MORE UPSTAIRS......🤗 You know how every a THERE'S MORE UPSTAIRS......🤗 You know how every antique mall says, “There’s more upstairs”? Well… apparently now I’m part of "the more upstairs". 🤣 After years of dragging vintage finds home, setting up at occasional markets, and saying “I really don't need another project”… Down Shiloh Road is getting a little antique booth roseblockantiques in Harrisburg, Illinois. Sometimes the right opportunity shows up at the right time. NOT A PUMPKIN 🍂 Fall decorating doesn’t always have to mean adding fall decor. 🤎 Sometimes I think we get so caught up in bringing out the pumpkins and leaves that we forget one of the easiest ways to change a room for the season is simply through color.😁 This little peg rack stays here all year. But for fall, I pulled together things I already had in warm shades of cream, brown, faded mustard and natural linen. I added a few dried stems, and suddenly the whole corner felt like autumn—without adding a single pumpkin. I did however add that old clothespin holder that I just bought recently!! Remember that find!? 😍🙌 I LOVE THAT because.......sometimes decorating REALLY can be that SIMPLE!!!🤗 Look around your house for the things that already give you a place to display something—a peg rack, hooks, a chair, an open shelf, a basket—and instead of asking “What fall decor can I put here?” try asking: “What colors would make this feel like fall?” 🤔 Sometimes that little shift is all it takes. 🤎 #fallfarmhouse #pegrail #FallDecor #fallcolor #simplestyle
