A LITTLE GLIMPSE OF HOME ....... ๐Ÿ‚ A little glimp A LITTLE GLIMPSE OF HOME ....... ๐Ÿ‚

A little glimpse of home while we're still here in Texas soaking up all the newborn snuggles with our sweet new grandson. ๐Ÿค—

We're enjoying every minute of this special time with family, and I know all my little projects and cozy corners will be waiting for me when we get back.

For now, I'm right where I want to be. ๐Ÿ˜

Happy Tuesday, friends! ๐ŸคŽ

I MIGHT BE A LITTLE OBSESSED ๐Ÿ‚ With DRIEDS!!!๐Ÿ˜ D I MIGHT BE A LITTLE OBSESSED ๐Ÿ‚

With DRIEDS!!!๐Ÿ˜

Dried gourds, dried sunflowers, dried cornstalks, dried wheat, dried bittersweet branches, dried broom corn, dried pumpkin stems..โ€ฆ I just can't seem to get enough of them this time of year! ๐Ÿ˜

There's something about decorating with things that have been gathered from the garden and fields that makes a home feel especially cozy in the fall.๐Ÿค—

I love all those natural textures, faded colors, and perfectly imperfect shapes. And the best part? So many of these things can be enjoyed year after year. ๐Ÿ™Œ

These wonderfully chippy stacking boxes from decorsteals are the perfect place to tuck in some of my favorite fall finds, and they're on sale right now!๐Ÿ˜

Tell me, are you a fan of decorating with dried naturals too? Or do you prefer fresh flowers and greenery? ๐ŸคŽ๐Ÿ‚

STILL THE COZIEST SPACE IN THE HOUSE. ๐ŸคŽ๐Ÿ‚ I've alw STILL THE COZIEST SPACE IN THE HOUSE. ๐ŸคŽ๐Ÿ‚

I've always believed that a cozy home is about more than just how it looks. It's about how it makes you feel.

For me, it's all about the layers. A soft rug underfoot, comfortable pillows to sink into, the warm glow of a lamp, and the familiar scent of a favorite candle.

I love mixing soft textures with weathered wood, old treasures, and natural elements. Nothing has to match perfectly, and I think that's part of the charm. A cozy room should feel collected over time, not decorated all at once.

Our beautiful rug from abanirugs adds so much warmth and texture to this space, while the candles and wax melts from redfoxprimitives bring in those wonderful scents that make a room feel even more inviting.

And one little thing I always love having nearby? Coffee table books and magazines! There's just something about a pretty stack of reading material that invites you to sit down, get comfortable, and stay awhile.

I'm curious... do you love having coffee table books and magazines sitting out too? Which is your favorite? ๐ŸคŽ

NO REGRETS!!!! ๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿค— Some projects take a little lon NO REGRETS!!!! ๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿค—

Some projects take a little longer than expected...and then there are the ones that seem to take forever! ๐Ÿคฃ

This old hutch was definitely one of those projects! Between all the work, the painting, the little details, and trying to bring my vision to life, it took me much longer than I ever imagined.

But looking at this BEFORE and AFTER of our front living room foyer area, I can honestly say I have NO regrets!

I loved this little corner before, but there is just something about giving an old piece new life and creating a space that feels like it has always belonged.

Sometimes the projects that take the longest end up being the ones we love the most. ๐ŸคŽ

Which look is your favorite? Are you a before or after kind of person?

A LITTLE AUTUMN CHARM ๐Ÿ‚๐ŸคŽ Rusty chairs, weathered A LITTLE AUTUMN CHARM ๐Ÿ‚๐ŸคŽ

Rusty chairs, weathered wood, dried cornstalks, and pumpkins tucked here and there. Nothing fancy, just old treasures and simple fall touches that make this little corner of our property feel extra cozy this time of year.

๐Ÿ‘‰Did you spot my Down Shiloh Road pumpkin? ๐ŸŽƒ I scarred the lettering right into the pumpkin while it was still growing, making it a little one-of-a-kind keepsake! You can find a DIY reel about this in my stories and saved highlights. ๐ŸคŽ

I also used the dominator_results bdcbrands mulch glue I shared in my recent reel around the shed to help keep all that mulch in place when the wind and weather roll through. So far, so good!

I think the older and rustier things get, the more I love them. ๐ŸคŽ๐Ÿค—

Are you a fan of all things rusty and weathered too?

TURNS OUT, THIS WAS THE FINISHING TOUCH MY LITTLE TURNS OUT, THIS WAS THE FINISHING TOUCH MY LITTLE SHED NEEDED. ๐Ÿ‚

I thought my little shed was already pretty cute, but something about this area still felt unfinished. ๐ŸคŽ #ad

We started by laying down cardboard and adding fresh mulch, and I couldnโ€™t believe how much of a difference it made!

Because the weather can get pretty rough out here, I wanted to help keep all that new mulch right where we put it. Josh sprayed DOMINATORยฎ XL Mulch Anchor over the area, and after letting it fully set for 24 hours, I got to do my favorite partโ€”decorate! ๐Ÿ‚

Even with me walking around, moving things and adding all of my fall touches, the mulch stayed put. And I love knowing it has a little extra protection from our wind and weather, too.

Such a simple finishing touch, but it made this whole little area feel complete. ๐ŸคŽ

I LOVE FINDING NEW WAYS TO GIVE OLD PIECES ANOTHER I LOVE FINDING NEW WAYS TO GIVE OLD PIECES ANOTHER LIFE. ๐Ÿ™Œ#ad

We found this weathered chair back in the barn, added a couple of wooden pegs to turn it into a little wall rack, and I knew it needed one more detail. ๐Ÿค—

After seeing the Liquitex Mediums display at michaelsstores, I decided to try something a little different. I used liquitexofficial Modeling Paste with a barn star stencil to create a raised design, then painted it in warm fall colors. ๐Ÿ‚

I love how the Modeling Paste added texture and dimension while still letting all that beautiful weathered wood show through. It was such a fun and easy way to give an old forgotten piece a new purpose, and I love how perfectly it fits in with my primitive folk-art style.

THEREโ€™S A CHANGE IN THE WINDโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ‘ป And today it brou THEREโ€™S A CHANGE IN THE WINDโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ‘ป

And today it brought one of my favorite fall garden pieces back as Todayโ€™s Deal at decorsteals !!

Iโ€™ve had this ghost weather vane tucked into the pumpkin patch, and I think I love it even more now that fall has arrived. The rusty finish looks like it was made to be out here among the rambling gourd vines and pumpkinsโ€”and yes, those little ghosts really do turn with the wind!

Itโ€™s one of those pieces that feels more like something I might have found tucked away at an old farm sale than something brand newโ€ฆ which is probably exactly why I love it. ๐ŸคŽ

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ”—Itโ€™s Todayโ€™s Deal at decorsteals, so click on this photo for more details. I'll also put my link in Stories if you want to take a peek! ๐Ÿ‘ป๐ŸŽƒ
ITโ€™S BACK! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™Œ My little pie safe from decorsteals ITโ€™S BACK! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™Œ

My little pie safe from decorsteals is available again today, and I have a feeling it wonโ€™t stick around long!

Iโ€™ve loved having this piece in our home and changing it up with the seasons. For fall, I kept things simple with old dishes, pumpkins, dried leaves and some of my dried pumpkin stems โ€” because you know Iโ€™ve been saving those twisty, gnarly little things for years. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐ŸŽƒ

I love how just a few fall touches completely change the feel of this little corner without having to redo everything.
If you missed the pie safe last time, todayโ€™s your chance โ€” it sold out FAST!

๐Ÿ”— I'll share a link in my stories !!!!

Are you a pumpkin-stem saver too, or am I in my own little club over here? ๐Ÿ˜‚
